Goat Development and Scientific Breeding through Goat AI-
The aim of the “Goat Development and Scientific Breeding through Goat AI” scheme is to genetically improve the local goat population of the State by adopting goat AI technology (Black Bengal and Ganjam Breed) in 30 districts of the State.
- Aim of scheme is to genetically improve the local goat population of the State by adopting goat AI technology(Black Bengal and Ganjam Breed) in 565 Goat AI centres.
- Training on Goat AI has been completed for 260 Vets and 700 paravets.
- Awareness Programme on Goat AI has been organized at village level for 20,000 farmers.
- At present the Goat AI programme is carried out in 300 centers.
- Till end of March 2025, 48670 Doses were inseminated and 15654 kids have been born.
